Interpretive Trails
A series of 16 interpretive signs exploring creation of the meteorite lake to be located at four nodes around the lake, the beach, geology museum, and the cliffs overlooking the lake.
Theme: Meteorites are common but only rarely do they have the power to create a crater like the one beneath West Hawk Lake.
Location: West Hawk Lake, Whiteshell Provincial Park
Special Features: This trail will follow the lake’s edge and will have two viewing decks on the upper cliffs.
