Interpretive Trails
Sherry is quick to grasp the essential elements of any interpretive challenge -whether the subject is natural history, cultural history or a combination of both, she can communicate the heart of the story with brevity and clarity.
Glen Suggett, Wildlife Lands Manager Manitoba Wildlife and Fisheries Branch
This is a driving trail developed by the Watchable Wildlife group in Manitoba. It is an extension of the Minnesota trail of the same name. We developed a guiding booklet with three routes that explore southeastern Manitoba with a focus on birds. The main route takes visitors from the Canada-USA border in the southeast corner of the province, up through the boreal forest and over to the east side of big lake, then around the southern edge of Lake Winnipeg and up the west side. The guide can be used for daytrips or week-long excursions.
