Amisk Trail
Interpretive signs were developed for an existing 4.2-kilometre trail through the boreal forest of Whiteshell Provincial Park. The interpretive signs encourage visitors to think about history of park development and what benefits they gain from spending time in nature.
Theme: We all benefit from spending time in nature and have visionaries like Aldo Leopold and Walter Danyluk to thank for that.
Special Feature: The trail is dedicated to Walter Danyluk, the first Director of Manitoba Parks, who was instrumental in establishing our first ten provincial parks.
