At the request of the Manitoba Forestry Association and its partners on the
Envirothon Committee we developed a 75-page manual for students participating
in the Manitoba Envirothon. To find out more about the Envirothon go to

The Student’s Biodiversity Manual was developed as the theme topic for the 2009
Manitoba competition held at the International Peace Gardens. Our role was to
research and write the manual on biodiversity to be used by high school students to
prepare for the Envirothon competition. The Manitoba team placed 11th of 52 teams
at the Canon Envirothon that year. Go Manitoba!
